India Jayne opened its doors in October 2003. The shop is named after the original owners daughter, it soon became a well known name to look for in Kingswood.

After working for a High Street Building Society for many years, I decided to make a career change and started at India Jayne on a part time basis.

When the second shop was opened I was asked to manage the Kingswood shop and got more experience in retail and buying.

In June 2005, the Kingswood shop became available to buy and I was offered first refusal. It was a very big step to take but with the full backing and support of my husband Mark and family and friends, I decided I had to give it a go!

I have two members of staff, Kim (which does get quite confusing at times!) and Jen who is my sister. Kim has worked at India Jayne since it opened and Jen started in September 2006. They are both invaluable and we all enjoy our jobs very much!

We look forward to seeing our regular customers but also enjoy welcoming new ones. Customer service is of the utmost importance to me and I hope this shows when you either visit the shop or indeed buy from the new web site!
